short stuff

have you ever noticed that when a vertically challenged person tries to walk through an automatic door they often experience the embarrassment of not being detected by the sensor? they back up and approach the door again, only to retreat again without success. then in distress they look around for one of those handicap buttons. well, this happens to me all the time. but what do i do? you may ask,... well, as i approach the door, i raise my hand up in the air and give a little wave, (like i'm returning a wave from someone important just beyond the doorway. the door then swings wide open allowing for me to strut right in with the greatest of ease. (this, of course, does not give the same satisfaction when i am stared down by the door greeter at wal-mart who happens to look like he hasn't had a shower in days). i only just discovered that today.
