autumn in oregon

today was another semi-wet cold day in oregon, with billowy clouds in a huge assortment of arrays,.... really gorgeous. with the sun peeping through causing the rain drops resting on the fallen and unfallen tree leaves to glisten... simply lovely. perfect weather for a nice hot cup of coffee and a hand-knit scarf. :) knitting scarves is my new pasttime... it's fast and easy and personal... hence, rewarding. not to mention, they are super cozy and warm... gotta love that. and they make perfectly lovely gifts. only problem is that i start on one for a friend and start to love it myself... it's hard to give it away at that point, for fear that the person receiving it will not love it as much as i do.
