star gazing

star light, star bright... first star i see tonight... i wish i may, i wish i might... have the wish i wish tonight.

i was out in elgin last saturday night and it was gorgeous. the night sky was clear of clouds and full of bright shining stars. there were even some meteor showers going on... and i think i saw the milky way again. i think i enjoy the night sky just as much as a beautiful day time sky filled with awesome cloud arrangements. the night was nearly complete with a bonfire and a couple of us on our guitars picking out some tunes and singing our hearts out. it was fun. what a beautiful texas november evening. it's looking like i might be getting to enjoy some more texas evenings in the near future... will keep you posted.
